A renowned healthcare community located in Lowell, MA, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their team at a facility specializing in memory care and brain injury rehabilitation. This opportunity involves working with a dedicated team in a setting that emphasizes long-term care.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: On-site
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, with one weekend rotation
- Hours: Full-time or part-time, consistent weekly schedule
- Setting: Community for memory care and brain injury, including a large Huntington’s Disease population
Responsibilities:
The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for:
- Providing and directing rehabilitation care based on accepted practice standards
- Evaluating resident needs and establishing effective treatment plans
- Coordinating treatment plans with staff and other disciplines
- Participating in resident screenings as scheduled
- Providing feedback on clinical and rehabilitation issues
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current and active Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts
- Experience with older adult rehabilitation preferred
- Familiarity with government and regulatory guidelines in healthcare settings
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours

- Team-oriented mindset
Desired Skills:
- Experience in older adult rehabilitation
