A housing services organization in New York City is looking to add a new Operations Coordinator to their team in the Bronx.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: Mid–late September
- Assignment: Temp-to-Perm (90-day transition)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm
- Setting: Bronx, NY (with fieldwork across boroughs)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct unit inspections prior to tenant move-in
- Support rent collection and lease compliance
- Maintain records and prepare reports in Excel
- Communicate with tenants, property managers, and leasing agents
- Perform fieldwork; MetroCards provided (van available for drivers)
Qualifications:
- 6+ months of related work experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Previous experience with Property Management and/or Leasing
- Knowledge of Section 8, Rent Calculations, and Compliance
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
Desired Skills:
- Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with Buildium or similar systems
- Experience in a Real Estate role/setting
- Driver’s license
