A Fortune 50 financial services company is seeking a highly motivated Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support them remotely.
***The qualified professional selected for this role will be allowed to work Fully Remote but must be available to work EST and CST time zones.***
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) resources including Compute, Storage, Load Balancers, and Networking (VCNs, Subnets, Routing)
- Administer Oracle PaaS offerings such as Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle FAW, and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
- Manage OCI Autonomous Database (ATP, ADW) instances and related services
- Set up and manage Jump Servers and SFTP Servers within OCI
- Provide full lifecycle support including patching, backups, upgrades, and environment access controls
- Lead incident management, problem resolution, and release/change management processes
- Troubleshoot OS-level issues on Windows Server (2016–2022) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (7–9)
- Manage user roles, access, and environment provisioning in a secure and scalable manner
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve complex technical issues
- Coordinate secure data transfers and support escalated infrastructure challenges
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (or similar public cloud providers)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in IaaS fundamentals, including compute, storage, networking, and security within OCI
- Hands-on experience with PaaS platforms: Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle FAW, and Oracle Marketplace solutions
- Working knowledge of Oracle Autonomous Database Services (ATP, ADW)
- Advanced system administration skills with Windows Server and/or Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis capabilities
- Experience with access provisioning, role management, and environment security best practices
