A leading company is currently seeking a skilled Product Data Management (PDM) Consultant to join their remote team. This role involves implementing and managing PDM solutions to enhance business efficiency and drive success.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: Remote with 10-15% travel to client site - fully covered by client
- Shift: Flexible
- Schedule: Full-time
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Setting: Remote with periodic on-site visits
Responsibilities:
- Partnering with project management to integrate SolidWorks, CADLink, and Epicor
- Supporting change management and communication across engineering, sales, and product management
- Designing and standardizing part numbering schemas
- Classifying parts with meaningful attributes and establishing Epicor item master mapping
- Managing bi-directional CADLink processes for data synchronization between CAD and Epicor
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in part number design or management in manufacturing/engineering
- Strong experience with Epicor ERP and PLM/ECN processes
- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD, and managing Epicor-CADLink integrations
- In-depth understanding of CADLink features and ERP data translation
- Excellent communication and training skills
