OB/GYN Physician (Locums)
A healthcare system is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Physician to provide locums coverage in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The OB/GYN will deliver comprehensive care for women’s health, including obstetric and gynecologic services.
About the Opportunity
- Schedule: Full-time clinic, hospital coverage, or call rotation
- Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
- Perform deliveries (vaginal and C-section).
- Conduct gynecologic exams, procedures, and surgeries.
- Collaborate with midwives, nurses, and subspecialists.
- Participate in patient education and counseling.
- Document all encounters in EMR.
Qualifications
- Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN Residency.
- Licensure: Active and unrestricted license in the state of practice.
- Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
- Preferred: Experience with high-risk obstetrics.
