A recognized services company is seeking a PeopleSoft Developer to support their team in Washington, DC.
About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: 6+ months (temp to hire)
- Hours: Standard business (EST)
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain
- Able to maintain a Position of Public Trust Clearance for an IT Position Sensitivity Risk Level High (T4)
Responsibilities:
- Directly interface with our customer providing PeopleSoft development support for their customized Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM version 9.2 application
- Gather requirements, translate requirements into the best fit within the application
- Identify business process improvements
- Develop and maintain SDLC documentation
- Support application configuration, define test scenarios, and create test scripts
- Review and comment on proposed functionality
- Evaluate and provide feedback on design documents, test plans and scenarios, and other associated artifacts
- Work with the Developers to ensure thorough understanding of functional requirements and designs
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of PeopleSoft HCM experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise analytics solutions and development experience with PeopleTools technologies
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree
- Working knowledge to modify/create PeopleSoft PeopleTools Application Designer objects (components, pages, records, fields, SQL, Application Engine, and Application Packages)
- Federal PeopleSoft HCM experience
- Experience with PeopleCode, CI’s, App Engines
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server databases
- Experience writing complex SQL queries, creating views, and tuning SQL
- Experience in validating business requirements and translating them into technical design documents
- Experience using version control software, such as SVN
Desired Skills:
- 7+ years of related work experience
- Familiarity with JIRA
- PeopleSoft Fluid development experience
- Good troubleshooting techniques to identify problems quickly
- Ability to identify trends and patterns in data and creating insights
- Experience working with large datasets
- Experience working within an Agile framework
