A community services organization based in New York is actively seeking new Phlebotomist to join their staff for a event in Long Island NY running from 8/4-9/20.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Saturday
- Hours: Monday-Friday 3 pm - 9 pm. Saturday 9 am - 5 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection with precision and care
- Label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards
- Support on-site health events, including setup, patient intake, and coordination with NPs and RNs
- Provide excellent patient service and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Use EMR systems to input and track patient data
Qualifications:
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred
- Experience in occupational health, mobile clinics, or high-volume settings a plus
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
