A biotech company in the Greater Chicago is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new PMO Lead. In this role, the PMO Lead will be responsible for overseeing project management operational processes, including governance and strategy, as well as managing people effectively.
About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: 6+ months
- Schedule: At least 2 days a week onsite
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Smart Sheets and MS Project to manage project timelines and resources
- Develop and implement standards for project discovery, including templates and documentation
- Reconcile lessons learned, hyper care, and spend during project go-live phases
- Enhance the maturity of IT project delivery processes
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Project Management within a PMO
- Proven experience in Project Management and People Management
- Proficiency in Smart Sheets and MS Project
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to identify risks and manage operational processes effectively
