A health services network in Los Angeles, CA is actively seeking a board-certified Podiatrist for a promising opportunity at one of the community health centers.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 5pm
- Setting: Outpatient
- Patient Population: All ages
- EMR: ECW
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive podiatric care encompassing the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various foot and ankle conditions
- Execute in-office procedures, including wound care, nail & skin surgeries, and orthotic fittings with precision
- Oversee the podiatric facets of chronic conditions such as diabetes, ensuring preventive care and addressing complications
- Provide thorough education to patients and their families regarding foot care, preventive strategies, and treatment protocols
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid and unrestricted Podiatric medical license in the state of California
- Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in Podiatric Medicine & Surgery
Desired Skills:
- 2+ years of Clinical experience in an Outpatient setting
- Expertise in Clinical Podiatric procedures
- Exceptional diagnostic capabilities
