Responsibilities:
The Primary Care Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:
- Taking patient histories, performing physical exams, and administering immunizations
- Ordering lab work and performing necessary lab tests
- Prescribing treatments for minor illnesses and consulting with physicians as needed
- Maintaining accurate documentation and following up on abnormal results
- Participating in case conferences and continuing education programs
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in New York State
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic and treatment procedures
- Competence in delivering health care and preventative education
- Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Commitment to patient satisfaction and quality care
