About the Opportunity:

- Schedule: Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and providing treatment plans for patients
- Completing and participating in chart review process; handling referral and follow-up of patients when needed
- Overseeing the clinical work of students or new providers, ensuring they adhere to best practices and organizational standards
- Providing mentorship and guidance to students or new providers, helping them develop their clinical skills and professional behavior
- Facilitating educational sessions, workshops or seminars to enhance the learning experience of the mentees
- Assessing the performance of students or new providers, providing constructive feedback and documenting their progress
- Ensuring high-quality patient care is maintained while supervising and mentoring students or new providers
- Working closely with academic institutions and other healthcare professionals to coordinate the educational activities and ensure a comprehensive learning experience
Qualifications:
- Doctorate Degree (MD, DO)
- Active/Valid license as an MD or DO in New York State
- Board Certification
- DEA registration
Desired Skills:
- Board Certification in Family Medicine
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Experience in HIV Care and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse patient population in a Community Health setting
