A top Fortune 50 financial institution is currently seeking a Process & Documentation Specialist to join its HR Operational Risk team. In this role, the Process & Documentation Specialist will play a key role in documenting, standardizing, and optimizing HR processes to support risk and compliance initiatives.

***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring qualified professionals to work in Winchester, VA (Pensacola, FL and/or Vienna, VA).***

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8am to 4:30pm
  • Setting: HR Risk & Compliance team (Corporate environment)

Responsibilities:

  • Documenting and standardizing HR operational processes
  • Collaborating with HR and Risk teams to identify improvements and align workflows
  • Creating SOPs, flowcharts, and detailed work instructions using SharePoint and Adobe
  • Supporting the HR Risk Officer with process and documentation projects
  • Participating in audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Developing materials for HR roadshows and stakeholder training sessions
  • Aligning documentation with risk frameworks and performance metrics

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Process Documentation and/or Operational Risk
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong understanding of documentation best practices and process design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams

Desired Skills:

  • Background in HR or enterprise risk environments
  • Familiarity with process audits or internal control frameworks
  • Experience developing or delivering process training
  • Attention to detail and consistency in documentation
  • Experience maintaining document repositories
