A top Fortune 50 financial institution is currently seeking a Process & Documentation Specialist to join its HR Operational Risk team. In this role, the Process & Documentation Specialist will play a key role in documenting, standardizing, and optimizing HR processes to support risk and compliance initiatives.
***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring qualified professionals to work in Winchester, VA (Pensacola, FL and/or Vienna, VA).***
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4:30pm
- Setting: HR Risk & Compliance team (Corporate environment)
Responsibilities:
- Documenting and standardizing HR operational processes
- Collaborating with HR and Risk teams to identify improvements and align workflows
- Creating SOPs, flowcharts, and detailed work instructions using SharePoint and Adobe
- Supporting the HR Risk Officer with process and documentation projects
- Participating in audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Developing materials for HR roadshows and stakeholder training sessions
- Aligning documentation with risk frameworks and performance metrics
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Process Documentation and/or Operational Risk
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat
- Strong understanding of documentation best practices and process design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
Desired Skills:
- Background in HR or enterprise risk environments
- Familiarity with process audits or internal control frameworks
- Experience developing or delivering process training
- Attention to detail and consistency in documentation
- Experience maintaining document repositories
