About the Opportunity:

- Setting: Remote (Must be local to Washington, DC for occasional onsite meetings)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision aligned with company goals
- Translate business needs into detailed product backlogs and user stories
- Lead product-release plans and manage expectations around delivery timelines
- Partner closely with stakeholders and development teams to ensure alignment and clarity
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Continuously evaluate and refine product priorities based on evolving needs and feedback
- Analyze market and competitor trends to drive strategy and innovation
- Maintain clear product documentation and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience supporting large-scale programs
- 5+ years of experience working in Agile environments
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Agile certifications such as CSM, ACSM, CSP-SM
- Deep knowledge of Agile methodology, IT systems lifecycle, and architectural frameworks
- Strong problem-solving, program management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to balance short- and long-term priorities while delivering business value
Desired Skills:
- Advanced Agile certifications (e.g., CSPO, CSP-PO, CAL1)
- Experience supporting Federal Government clients (DHS, FDA, NIH, HHS)
- Familiarity with CMMI level frameworks
- Proficiency with tools such as Atlassian suite, Azure, JAMF, Okta
- Experience with Microsoft tools like Power Platform, M365/MS Teams, and AVD
