A recognized entertainment organization is currently seeking a Production Finance Coordinator to join their growing team. In this role, Coordinator will support our Production Finance team. This role is essential in coordinating meetings, managing financial workflows, audit support, show funding and facilitating smooth communication between studio and production accounting teams throughout all phases of production.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative and office support to the Production Finance department
- Manage the calendar of Head of Production Finance and two Senior Execs for the studio.
- Schedule and coordinate finance-related calls and meetings for studio finance and production accounting teams
- Prepare expense reports
- Assist with ongoing production & incentive audits, including document pulls and audit preparation
- Assist with insurance claim audit, coordinating activities with carriers and audit firms
- Coordinate with BA and Contract Administration on payment authorizations
- Consolidate production funding requests, process submissions and update cashflow schedules
- Maintain Controller/Production Accountant database: coordinate resumes and employment requests for shows
- Maintain and distribute current Production & Post-production schedules / changes / notifications / holidays / payroll company updates
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of related Finance experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proficient skills in Excel
- Demonstrated attention to detail, time management and organization skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter, team-player, ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- Experience in Media and/or Entertainment
- Familiarity with SharePoint, EP/Scenechronize or production accounting software
