Program Coordinator
A top Fortune 50 financial institution is currently seeking a Program Coordinator to support strategic business initiatives from planning through execution. This hybrid opportunity is based in Vienna, VA and focuses on coordinating small to mid-sized programs that impact business unit performance.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: Hybrid – minimum two days per week on-site in Vienna, VA
- Shift: Standard business hours
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Setting: Corporate/Office environment
Responsibilities:
The Program Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Supporting the execution of small-scale programs or portions of larger initiatives
- Gathering and analyzing performance data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Assisting in defining KPIs, goals, and action plans in collaboration with leadership
- Coordinating work plans, schedules, deliverables, and training requirements
- Managing program documentation and assisting with status updates, budgeting, and risk tracking
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in program/project coordination or management
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Ability to work across teams and manage multiple priorities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Desired Skills:
- 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise-level programs
- PMP, CSM, or similar certification
- Familiarity with regulatory environments in financial services
- Experience facilitating change management or continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and guide stakeholders
