A top Financial Services client is seeking a Programmer Analyst with Firco experience to join their team in Atlanta, GA. This hybrid opportunity is ideal for a seasoned IT professional with deep experience in FircoSoft or similar sanctions screening platforms and a strong background in financial services compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Building, configuring, and integrating FircoSoft Continuity & Trust or similar sanctions screening solutions
- Managing and optimizing Oracle and MS SQL databases, including performance tuning and data modeling
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including IT, security, and compliance
- Leading Agile delivery efforts using Scrum or Kanban methodologies
- Mentoring junior team members and managing vendor resources (onshore/offshore)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- 4–7 years of IT experience or equivalent education/training
- Strong proficiency in Oracle and MS SQL
- Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to manage complex projects and solve problems using IT best practices
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Experience in banking or financial services, particularly in OFAC, AML, KYC, and consumer/wholesale/wealth business units
- Familiarity with architecture diagrams, code bases, and data mapping templates
Strong analytical and debugging skills
