Must be Board Certified with an active DEA and Suboxone certification
Responsibilities:
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:
- Providing psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for pediatric patients
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans
- Monitoring treatment progress and adjusting plans as necessary
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Supporting family education and involvement in treatment planning
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (preferably with children)
- Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing (Psychiatric/Mental Health specialty)
- Active Connecticut APRN license
- Board Certification in Psychiatry
- Active DEA license
- Active Suboxone certification
- Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
