A top Fortune 50 financial institution is currently seeking a Quality Control Specialist. In this role, the Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for supporting compliance, quality assurance, and service monitoring efforts within their Operations team.
About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: 6+ months
- Hours: 8am to 4:30pm
- Hybrid: At least 2 days a week at either Pensacola, FL or Winchester, VA
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and evaluating service interactions for quality, consistency, and compliance
- Documenting and delivering feedback to team members and leadership
- Identifying areas of improvement and recognizing positive performance trends
- Reporting patterns that may indicate fraud, abuse, or procedural issues
- Recommending improvements to increase efficiency and member satisfaction
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant Quality Control and/or Compliance experience
- Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of Federal regulations and Quality Assurance methodologies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide feedback and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of Quality Systems, Internal Controls, and Financial Services Operations
- Background in Training and Staff Development
- Experience supervising or mentoring team members• Ability to influence and guide team performance
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
