A renowned healthcare provider in Bronx, NY, is currently seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for a Pediatric/Foster Care Medical Clinic. This role requires dedication to promoting the health and well-being of vulnerable youth through comprehensive care.
About the Opportunity:

- Shift: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
- Schedule: Full-time
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Setting: Pediatric/Foster Care Medical Clinic
Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
- Providing general medical care and treatment to supported individuals onsite.
- Conducting physical examinations and preventative health measures under NP supervision.
- Conducting health evaluations, assessments, and screenings with follow-ups.
- Reviewing Pediatric guidelines for care, including immunizations and testing.
- Recording physical findings based on patients’ conditions.
- Developing comprehensive patient care plans.
- Conducting medical examinations of youth after incidents.
- Providing health education to youth support, including reproductive health education.
- Administering medications.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working with pediatric patients.
- NYS Licensed Registered Nurse, BSN preferred.
- Experience in medication administration, first aid, and triage.
- Clinical and Case Management experience.
- Ability to foster a positive and encouraging attitude.
- Excellent communication skills; team collaboration experience.
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience with Foster Care, Residential, or Juvenile Justice-involved youth.
- BSN degree.
- Experience in a similar medical setting.
- Proficient in pediatric care.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
