**Registered Nurse - Outpatient** A reputable healthcare facility in Staten Island is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for their Mariner's Harbor location. This role focuses on outpatient treatment services for clients with substance use disorders, providing essential nursing care and support. **About the Opportunity:** - **Hybrid or Remote:** Not applicable - **Shift:** 6am - 2pm - **Schedule:** 4 weekdays and 1 Saturday per week (Mon-Thu, Sat; Off Fri & Sun) - **Hours:** 35 hours per week (1-hour unpaid lunch) - **Setting:** Outpatient facility **Responsibilities:** The **Registered Nurse** will be responsible for: - Dispensing methadone and conducting medical assessments. - Providing injections and wound care as necessary. - Educating clients on communicable diseases and harm reduction strategies. - Maintaining inventory and medical records compliance. - Assisting with EKGs and blood work when needed. **Qualifications:** - Minimum 1-3 years of RN experience, preferably with SUD or SMI clients. - Associate’s Degree in Nursing. - NYS RN licensure and BLS certification. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EMR. - Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities. - Effective communication and crisis management skills. **Desired Skills:** - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). - Commitment to diversity and inclusivity in healthcare services.
