A reputable healthcare organization in Brooklyn, NY is currently seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join their Internal Medicine team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care and support within a dynamic clinical environment.
About the Opportunity:- Hybrid or Remote: On-site at the East New York Clinic
- Shift: Regular daytime hours with one possible late evening per week
- Schedule: Full-time
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Setting: Internal Medicine Clinic
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
- Providing clinical supervision to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Medical Assistants (MAs) on the Care Team
- Ensuring nursing practices are in accordance with guidelines and policies
- Assisting with applicant screening, training, and performance evaluations
- Providing nursing care, including administering prescribed medications and treatments
- Coordinating and managing daily huddles and clinical supplies
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current, unrestricted licensure in the State of New York as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR); experience with EPIC preferred
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions
- Bachelors or Masters of Science in Nursing
- Experience in a specific specialty area
