A medical services company in New York City is looking to add a new Registered Nurse (RN) to their team in the Bronx. In this role, the Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for overseeing the assessment, coordination, implementation, and management of resident care and services.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire possibility)
- Schedule: Open availability with at least one weekend per month
- Hours: 4pm to 12pm (1-hr unpaid lunches)
Responsibilities:
- Admissions and assessments
- Patient education and xare
- Incident Reporting and problem resolution
- Medication and record keeping
- Clinical operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science of Nursing
- Licensed and currently registered as a Professional Nurse in New York State
- Current and valid, CPR (BLS)/AED Certification
- Current Infection Control certification (approved by NYS, valid for 4 years, 4.0 hours)
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and regulatory standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
Desired Skills:
- 1+ year of Nursing experience
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
