A health services network in New York is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing Residential System and work at one of their group homes in Westchester County.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Temp to Perm
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm
- Setting: Group Home
- Patient Population: Developmentally / Intellectually Disabled
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the assessment, planning and implementation of medical care
- Provide oversight and training of direct care staff in monitoring the medical system
- Provide documented oversight of medical appointments and medical issues
- Coordinate and monitor health services, as well as signs and symptoms of illness
- Monitor care during medical hospitalizations
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Solid assessment and documentation skills
Desired Skills:
- 1+ year of related Nursing experience
- Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with the Developmentally / Intellectually Disabled population
