A health services network in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing long-term care facility in Manhattan.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: 13-week contract
- Shift: Days (7:30am to 3:30pm) or Evenings (3:30pm to 11:30pm) or Nights (11:30pm to 7:30am)
- Schedule: Full-time (5 shifts/week) or Part-time (3 shifts/week)
- Setting: Long-Term Care
- Notes: Must be available every other weekend
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments on admission, quarterly, and as needed
- Administer medications and treatments (oral, IV, subcutaneous, wound care, etc.) as prescribed
- Monitor residents’ responses and adjust plan of care accordingly; recognize clinical changes and report emerging health issues promptly
- Accurately record observations, vital signs, intake/output, weights, behavior or mental status changes, and care interventions in medical records per facility and state standards
- Provide education to residents and families about health conditions, medication regimes, therapies, and safe self‑care practices
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Clinical experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- CPR certification
- Working knowledge of Electronic Documentations
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Solid assessment and documentation skills
Desired Skills:
