A health services network in New York City is looking to add a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing community health clinic in Brooklyn.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire)
- Schedule: 4 days a week
- Hours: 9am to 7pm
Responsibilities:
- Perform specialized care
- Maintain accurate documentation of all nursing activities, including medication profile, report any unusual changes/occurrences to the attention of the Physician
- Complete clear, concise and accurate clinical notes which documents skilled services and other required documentation appropriately
- Communicate necessary information to the Nurse Care Coordinator
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience working in a setting that promotes Interdisciplinary Care Planning
Desired Skills:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Experience with persons with HIV/AIDS, histories of Substance Ise and/or Mental Illness
