A nonprofit organization in Queens is currently seeking a new Residential Manager to join their growing team. In this role, the Residential Manager will be responsible for performing managerial and administrative tasks to ensure that the ICF is operating according to current regulations, and that all clients are receiving risk appropriate care.

- Schedule: Tuesday thru Saturday, OR Sunday thru Thursday
- Hours: 11am-7pm or 12p-8pm
- Patient Population: Developmentally Disabled Population, Adults
The Residential Program Manager will:
- Perform managerial and administrative tasks to ensure that the ICF is operating according to current regulations, and that all clients are receiving risk appropriate care
- Coordinate the activities of the shift and determine priorities as directed or required to ensure consumer safety
- Assist in supervising the functions and activities of the Direct Care Counselors
- Help plan community inclusion activities
- Ensure meals are planned for following shift and ingredients are set out
- Function independently in times of facility coverage including responsibility for appropriate action in crisis situations and medical emergencies per agency procedure
- Prepare documentation and written reports per agency requirements
- Perform other duties, as needed
- Bachelor's Degree (will consider someone without a Bachelor's Degree if they have extensive experience in field)
- Must have OPWDD experience
- Familiar with and the required certification in AMAP and SCIP, CPR and First Aid
- Computer savvy
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a related field
