A recognized Telecommunications company is seeking a Sales Assistant II to join their growing team in either Maryland or New York.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: Hybrid (4 days in office)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Works directly with the Compliance team and lead QA auditor to ensure internal and legal requirements are met. Responsible for providing direction and support to eliminate any barriers in day-to-day workflow.
- Responsible for providing daily and weekly Political revenue reporting to the Sales team.
- Review reporting for inaccuracies, and initiate resolution of data variances and discrepancies.
- Oversees issues with ad copy requirements and responsible for communicating to Sales to resolve in a timely manner.
- Supports Political Sales Team with presentation materials and other special projects.
- Providing pre- and post-sales support to Sales and cross-functional teams.
- Reports directly to the Manager, Political Sales Support and Category Operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, is required.
- Excellent communication skills required to service internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload surrounding strict deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, eager to learn and excellent problem solving skills.
- Competent at analyzing data, identifying trends, and appropriately escalating in response.
- A strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
