A Fortune 10 technology company is currently seeking a Field Sales Representative based in Los Angeles, San Diego, or Bellevue/Seattle. This is a high-visibility role focused on building qualified leads within the multifamily housing sector. The position plays a vital role in the early stages of the sales process by generating survey submissions and supporting broader sales expansion efforts in key markets.

About the Opportunity:

  • Assignment Length: 6+ months
  • Schedule: Standard business, with flexibility based on outreach strategy
  • Hybrid or Remote: Primarily remote, but candidates must be based near Los Angeles, San Diego, or Bellevue/Seattle for occasional in-person field visits

Responsibilities:

  • Generating qualified survey submissions from multifamily properties (40+ units)
  • Conducting outbound email and phone outreach to property owners and managers
  • Traveling locally to conduct in-person canvassing and onsite meetings with prospects
  • Educating decision-makers on solutions and guiding them through the intake process
  • Managing daily sales activity independently and using effective closing techniques
  • Collaborating with internal Business Development Managers for pipeline handoffs
  • Maintaining knowledge of competitors and market trends
  • Representing the company in a professional and customer-focused manner

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of Sales, Canvassing, or Customer-Facing experience
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Proficient with CRM tools and outreach platforms
  • Comfortable with both virtual and in-person outreach methods
  • Ability to manage sales activity independently and meet monthly goals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized, self-motivated, and competitive
  • Ability to walk door-to-door and travel locally within territory

Desired Skills:

  • Prior experience in Inside Sales, Field Sales, or Lead Generation roles
  • Background in Multifamily, Real Estate, or Property Technology sales
  • Experience with canvassing or B2B outreach in defined territories
  • Results-driven mindset with a proven track record of hitting KPIs
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and adapt messaging to different audiences
