A biotech company is actively seeking a new SAP TM Consultant to join their growing team on a contract basis. In this role, the SAP TM Consultant will be responsible for customizing the system to meet specific business needs, configuring modules like Order Management, Planning, Freight Execution, and Settlement.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluating current transportation processes, identifying areas for improvement, and designing optimized processes within the SAP TM framework
- Ensuring seamless integration with systems like SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), S/4HANA, and other relevant modules
- Working with business users, IT teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide training, and ensure smooth system adoption
- Addressing user issues, resolving system defects, and providing ongoing support for the SAP TM solution
- Developing custom solutions, enhancements, and interfaces for SAP TM, and optimizing system performance
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of transportation management principles and best practices
- Proficiency in SAP TM configuration and customization
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and other relevant SAP modules
- Experience with data conversion, testing, and cutover activities
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
