About the Opportunity:
- Location : Queens County (Fully Onsite)
- Schedule : 8-hour workdays with a 1-hour unpaid meal break
- Length of assignment : Through November 2026
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of procurement activities for a wide range of goods and services
- Draft, review, and issue complex solicitations, such as Requests for Proposals (RFPs); analyze bids and conduct cost/price analyses
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and city procurement regulations
- Prepare detailed reports on procurement status, metrics, and outcomes
- Serve as a key advisor to internal stakeholders on procurement strategies and procedures
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and program teams to ensure alignment and efficiency
- Mentor junior procurement staff and contribute to team development
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a focus on problem-solving and organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Government Procurement or a related field
- Strong understanding of Government Procurement regulations and best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Proven ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Highly organized with strong time-management capabilities
Desired Skills:
- Experience in a large, complex organization
