A healthcare organization in Orlando is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager. This role involves managing vendor application projects both within and outside of the M&As.
About the Opportunity:
- Scheudle: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8amto 5pm
Responsibilities :
- Managing all aspects of multiple simultaneous IT projects, including initiation, planning, implementation, and closure
- Leading project teams and managing resources to achieve project objectives
- Developing project plans, including work breakdown structures, risk management, and communication plans
- Coaching and mentoring project team members and stakeholders on project management methodologies
- Procuring and managing internal and external project resources and vendor contracts
- Ensuring compliance with project methodology and maintaining project documentation
- Delivering weekly project status updates and managing project budgets
- Conducting post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience managing large projects
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (associate’s degree with additional experience or High School diploma with additional experience)
- Project budget management and Vendor project management experience
- PMP required
- Experience with formal project management methodologies
- Experience delivering software solutions to a large user base
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management
- Professional, well spoken, energetic and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Desired Skills:
- Additional years of experience in IT project management
- Healthcare/Hospital experience
- Advanced degrees or certifications in related fields
- Experience with vendor contract negotiation and development
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work
