Responsibilities:
The SOX Auditor Consultant will be responsible for:
- Reviewing contracts to ensure the revenue recorded complies with ASC 606
- Completing a checklist for each contract, extrapolating the relevant data
- Identifying and communicating observations and recommendations to the assistant controller to enhance compliance processes
- Completing monthly SOX compliance controls related to ASC 606 revenue
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in accounts payable processes
- Supporting the Finance team on special projects as required
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of audit experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance
- Background in SOX
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Solid problem-solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills:
- 3+ years of audit experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of ASC 606
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
