A recognized services company in Virginia is looking to add an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to their team in Richmond, VA or Cayce, SC.
***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite every other week.***
Responsibilities:
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research, monitoring applications and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems
- Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written
- Work with an individual business unit in a multi-platform environment on multiple project assignments

- Guide and advise less experienced Systems Analysts
- Work with an individual business unit, in a multi-platform environment, on multiple project assignments
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of AMI and AMR systems
- Experience in Electric Utility Field
- Experience with troubleshooting Applications on various platforms desktop/laptop/mobile Toughbook
- Experience with Data analytics to analyze and modify flat files
- Experience working with applications in an Oracle environment
- Possess strong knowledge and ability to read/write Oracle SQL queries and stored procedure coding and tuning
- Proven experience working with and reading log files for troubleshooting
- Proven experience with debugging and monitoring applications on a multi-platform environment
- Proven experience in functional and technical architecture, design and development, testing, and system integration
- Knowledge of development methodologies and tool sets (.NET, VB, C#), database platforms (Oracle/SQL Server, Linux), web platforms (IIS, Apache, .NET, Adobe Flex, JavaScript, HTML), client platforms (Citrix, Windows OS)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, Power Point, SharePoint)
