A leading organization in New York City is currently seeking a dynamic Senior Workday Analyst to join their team. This role focuses on optimizing Workday functionality to enhance employee experience in managing benefits, leave options, and supporting HR compliance.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid: 3 days onsite (Tuesday to Thursday)
- Contract to hire, likely 6-month duration
- Located at 95 Pine Street, New York, NY
- Vaccination required
Responsibilities:
The Senior Workday Analyst will be responsible for:
- Leading configuration and enhancement of Workday Benefits, Leave of Absence, and Time Off modules
- Managing business processes for lifecycle changes related to benefits and leave
- Collaborating with functional teams to translate policy requirements into system configurations
- Partnering with HR, Payroll, and third-party vendors to automate benefit and leave processes
- Designing and testing new functionality and integrations
- Monitoring data accuracy and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards on benefits utilization
- Supporting major Workday releases and implementing enhancements
- Providing troubleshooting and issue resolution for end-users
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Workday configuration experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- Strong understanding of benefit plan administration and leave policies
- Proficiency in Workday business processes and advanced reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid project management capabilities
Desired Skills:
- Experience integrating Workday Benefits with third-party carriers
- Familiarity with federal and state leave regulations
- Experience leading Workday Open Enrollment processes
