An education network in Western New York is actively seeking a new Social Worker (LMSW) to join their staff at one of their schools in Rochester.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- A ssignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4pm
- Patient Population: Ages 5-22, IDD
Responsibilities:
- Participating as a member of the admissions team
- Completing social service assessments
- Participating in the development and maintenance of the master problem list and social work treatment plans and identifying appropriate short and long-term social service goals for clients
- Participating in developing and carrying out behavior management programs as indicated
- Providing social work assessment, counseling, and referral as defined in the client's treatment plan
Requirements:

Licensed Master's Degree in Social Work (LMSW)
Desired Skills:
- 2+ years of experience providing Social Services to children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD)
- Genuine interest in working with the clients through their Rehabilitative and Psychosocial Treatment process
