A professional services firm in New Jersey is actively seeking a new Senior Solution Architect to design, architect, and guide the delivery of enterprise-grade solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and architect enterprise-grade solutions based on stakeholder requirements, leveraging Microsoft Azure services, API management, integration patterns, microservices, and .NET technologies
- Lead solution design sessions, produce architecture artifacts (diagrams, patterns, standards), and ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles
- Participate in daily stand-ups, provide technical leadership to development teams, and take ownership of architectural deliverables
- Collaborate with Solution Leads and cross-functional stakeholders to understand priorities, guide technology choices, and ensure alignment of solutions with business objectives and enterprise standards
- Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement initiatives, evaluate emerging technologies, and support the evolution of enterprise architecture practices
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in Solution Architecture, Software Engineering, or Enterprise Application Design
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise with Microsoft technologies
- Proven expertise in designing and delivering complex enterprise solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Strong knowledge of API architecture, microservices, integration patterns, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems
- Hands-on experience with .NET/.NET Core application development and modern software engineering practices
- Deep understanding of Azure services such as API Management, App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure SQL, Key Vault, and DevOps pipelines
- Familiarity with security, governance, and compliance frameworks in cloud-based architectures
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions across technical and business teams.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently, balancing strategic priorities and delivery commitments
Desired Skills:
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent Cloud Architecture certification
- Knowledge of data platforms, messaging systems, and cloud-native architectural styles
