A health services network in New York City is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with children at an inpatient mental health facility in the Bronx.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Part time – 15 to 20 hours per week
- Setting: Inpatient Mental Health
- Patient Population: Child and Adolescent
Responsibilities:
- Performing patient evaluations
- Handling all treatment planning
- Providing speech therapy services
- Documentation of evaluations and therapy
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Active NYS Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- NYS Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped
- Direct clinical experience working with children/adolescents
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience working with the Mental Health population
