Overview:
Our client is seeking a seasoned revenue cycle leader to serve in an advisory capacity, focused on back-end operations within Epic HB and PB. This role is strategic in nature, evaluating leadership performance, identifying opportunities for operational improvement, and guiding the implementation of best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert across back-end Epic functions
- Partner with internal leadership in a "two-in-the-box" model to evaluate current team effectiveness and leadership
- Assess performance across billing, collections, and cash posting workflows
- Identify gaps and provide recommendations to drive operational excellence
- Mentor and support junior team members and client staff
- Present findings and recommendations to client stakeholders
Ideal Background:
- Former Director, AVP, or VP of PFS (Professional or Hospital Billing)
- 10+ years in revenue cycle management, with deep back-end Epic experience (HB and PB)
- Strong leadership evaluation and advisory experience
- Prior consulting or interim leadership experience preferred
- 7+ years of Epic experience, certification a plus
