A recognized services organization in New Jersey is actively seeking a new ServiceNow Expert to lead the design, development, and administration of their ServiceNow platform.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management
- Design, script, and implement new applications, workflows, and integrations to expand ServiceNow functionality
- Develop and maintain API ‑ based integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems
- Partner with IT and business teams to refine workflows, automate processes, and improve service delivery
- Implement role ‑ based access controls, monitor platform performance, and ensure compliance with security policies
- Plan and execute version upgrades and patching with minimal disruption
- Produce technical and user documentation; provide training to system users and administrators
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands ‑ on ServiceNow administration and development experience
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow Studio
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP web services
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Desired Skills:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA); Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD)
- Experience with ITOM Discovery, Event Management, or Performance Analytics
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
