A professional services firm in New Jersey is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new Tax Collator to their team.
Responsibilities:
- Rolling over of client data from one year to the next.
- Processing correspondence for tax staff
- Assisting with the preparation of engagement letters
- Answering phones, scanning and faxing, coordinating conference and Zoom calls
- Acting as an assistant to the Tax Partner, as needed
- Office supply inventory and ordering
- Sorting and distributing mail
- Mail deliveries to the post office
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of relevant work experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Proven experience with Administrative and Clerical tasks
- Computer savvy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PDF and Outlook)
- Solid problem-solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills:
- Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s Degree
- Previous experience supporting a Tax-specific team
- CCH Access or XCM software knowledge
