Unified Communications Analyst

A healthcare organization in Birmingham, Alabama is currently seeking a Senior IT Unified Communications Analyst. This exciting onsite opportunity involves leading telephony projects and supporting the transition from an outdated Avaya/Nortel system to a CISCO IP Phone System across multiple locations. **About the Opportunity:** - **Hybrid or Remote:** Onsite in Birmingham - **Shift:** Day shift - **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with possible on-call duties - **Hours:** Full-time - **Setting:** Healthcare facilities **Responsibilities:** The **Senior IT Unified Communications Analyst** will be responsible for: - Identifying process inefficiencies and implementing improvements. - Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting telephony systems. - Supporting VoIP and traditional telephony technologies. - Providing Tier II support and exemplary customer service. - Leading technical telephony projects and coordinating with IT teams. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 5 years of experience in telephony/communications. - Bachelor’s degree; or 3 additional years of experience in lieu of degree. - Strong understanding of Cisco VoIP, Unified Communications, and telephony systems. - Experience with Cisco Packaged Contact Center Enterprise and related technologies. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. **Desired Skills:** - Experience with Cisco Voice Gateways and Cisco Unified Border Elements (CUBE). - Proficient in analyzing and defining disaster recovery procedures. - Strong documentation and technical writing skills. - VoIP technology expertise.
