Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end conversational flows for chatbots, IVRs, and other AI-powered interfaces.
- Write clear, concise, and natural-sounding conversational content that reflects our brand tone.
- Define intents, utterances, and response logic for AI/NLU systems.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and UX researchers to implement conversation strategies.
- Conduct usability testing, analyze user feedback, and iterate on conversation flows to improve effectiveness.
- Maintain conversation design guidelines and promote best practices.
- Advocate for accessibility, inclusivity, and the user in every design decision.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional experience in conversation design or UX writing for conversational interfaces.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating conversational UI/UX projects.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with an ear for human dialogue and tone variation.
- Solid understanding of design thinking, UX principles, and accessibility standards.
- Proficiency with at least one conversational AI platform (e.g., Dialogflow, Rasa, IBM Watson, Voiceflow).
- Familiarity with conversation design tools and frameworks.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments with cross-functional teams.
