A leading financial institution headquartered in Vienna, VA, is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join their team. In this role, you will support enterprise initiatives by delivering cohesive, accessible, and effective member experiences.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid: 2x per week onsite in Vienna, VA
- Schedule: Core hours 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST
- Setting: Corporate Member Strategy Office – Design Team
Responsibilities:
The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for:
- Translating business goals and user needs into intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling solutions.
- Collaborating with UX strategists, researchers, content designers, and developers to shape holistic member experiences.
- Driving end-to-end design work from discovery through delivery.
- Designing and prototyping user flows, wireframes, and interfaces using Figma and other modern tools.
- Ensuring consistency across platforms by contributing to the shared design system.
- Aligning design initiatives with broader strategic goals from the Member Strategy Office.
- Balancing multiple projects while adapting to shifting priorities.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design, preferably in enterprise or cross-functional environments.
- Strong portfolio showcasing full-stack design capabilities (strategy, wireframes, UI, systems thinking).
- Experience designing for both internal tools and customer-facing digital experiences.
- Proficiency in Figma and modern design/prototyping tools.
- Ability to collaborate closely with developers.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present and explain design decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design best practices.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with financial services or member-first organizations.
- Experience supporting both strategic planning tools and marketing/conversion journeys.
- Experience contributing to or scaling a design system across multiple teams.
