A Fortune 50 financial institution is currently seeking an IT Warehouse Technician to join their team onsite at their headquarters in Pensacola, FL This role plays a key part in supporting IT asset management, warehousing, distribution, and equipment disposal while ensuring accurate record-keeping and coordination across multiple teams.

Responsibilities:
- Confirm receipt of IT products and equipment
- Identify, tag, and record IT assets for tracking and purchase order closure
- Scan and update asset details in the IT Asset Management system
- Record and verify tag numbers, descriptions, models, serial numbers, and manufacturers
- Manage onsite and offsite IT inventory storage
- Coordinate space planning, security, and transport logistics
- Oversee temporary warehousing for IT assets (90–120 days) and longer-term storage needs
- Conduct monthly and quarterly inventory checks
- Maintain data integrity within storage systems and advise teams on inventory results
- Support additional inventory counts and timely reporting
- Manage global delivery of IT equipment (dock-to-dock and priority delivery)
- Identify cost-effective shipping and delivery options
- Scan and transfer equipment to receiving departments with full traceability
- Assist with secure disposal of outdated or damaged IT assets
- Remove data components and batteries prior to disposal
- Maintain and provide disposal records to the IT Asset Management team
- Perform onsite shredding and track related documentation using approved vendors
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in IT Logistics, Warehousing, or Asset Tracking
- Experience using ServiceNow or other inventory/ticketing systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel (data sorting, pivot tables, reporting)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Comfort working in a physical/warehouse setting with inventory handling
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with NIST compliance and secure IT asset disposal
- Experience managing logistics or facility equipment maintenance
- Previous work with IT asset disposal vendors (e.g., ATR, IBM)
- Solid understanding of secure shipping protocols and inventory best practices
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing processes and directives
