A Fortune 100 financial institution is seeking a skilled YouTube SEO Specialist to optimize and enhance the visibility and performance of existing video content on their YouTube channel.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-impact keywords and search terms relevant to existing YouTube content
- Optimize existing YouTube videos by updating titles, descriptions, tags, and other metadata based on best practices and keyword insights
- Create visually engaging and SEO-friendly thumbnails to improve click-through rates
- Analyze YouTube analytics and SEO performance metrics (search rankings, impressions, click-through rate, watch time, etc.) to inform ongoing strategy
- Provide regular reporting on SEO performance and recommendations for continued improvement
- Develop YouTube SEO best practices based on findings and apply them consistently across the channel
- Collaborate with internal teams to share optimization insights and support future video content strategies
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in YouTube SEO, Video Optimization, or Digital Marketing
- Proven success in improving video discoverability and engagement through SEO best practices
- Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms, analytics tools, and keyword trends
- Proficiency in tools such as TubeBuddy, VidIQ, Google Trends, or similar platforms
- Ability to conceptualize and direct the creation of high-performing thumbnails
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
